One memorable career moment: Filming a supplement commercial in Hawaii during the same time when Jurassic World was being made, the locals were trying to get in the shots (some actually made it in even though it wasn’t Jurassic World).
Lisa's Role at Drop & Hook
At Drop & Hook, Lisa will be overseeing and managing client accounts, while finding ways to improve efficiency in every day operations.
Before Drop & Hook
Lisa started her career at UPS Logistics Technologies in Marketing and Communications for their commercial routing and scheduling solution, known as Roadnet. There she was also part of 2 major initiatives for UPS: going public and changing their brand from the old package logo to the shield logo you see today.
She then worked a dual role as Product and Marketing Manager for health and wellness supplements at Nutramax Laboratories. As marketing manager, she worked with product ambassadors such as Jack Hanna, Bethany Hamilton (and if you know her then you know that is who we were filming in Hawaii…),Jim Palmer, and more. As Product Manager, she delved more into the ingredient and shipping world, while visiting vendors like Costco and CVS each year to pitch new packaging and promotional ideas.
Working so closely with the ad agency for Nutramax and Jack Hanna lit a fire to dive into advertising, so Lisa made the jump to the agency world where her largest client was the Maryland Department of Transportation. Again in a dual role as Senior Account Executive and Project Manager, Lisa oversaw projects in all mediums and channels while working on-site at MDOT. As their agency liaison, each day was different, from running a press conference with the governor, to filming in a construction area (with hard hat, safety vest, and steel-toed boots of course), to running safety programs at schools, events, and dedications complete with the Ravens and Orioles mascots.
Lisa’s last role before Drop & Hook found her back at her roots at logistics optimization company, ORTEC. Over her 5 years there, she oversaw the marketing for North America and LATAM. As VP of Marketing, she worked closely with all locations across the globe to ensure consistency in messaging and growth in pipeline.
Why Drop & Hook
Lisa has a passion for transportation & logistics and a love for marketing, and what better way to combine them then at Drop & Hook? A fortuitous meeting with Drop & Hook owner Michelle at the Women in Supply Chain Conference led to being in the right place at the right time just 6 months later. Lisa has seen the amazing work the team has done for their clients and hopes to add to that success.

Life Outside of Work
Life outside of work is pretty simple but also very full. Hiking with her dogs, hanging with her family, cooking, baking, boating, and swimming keep her busy, but her favorite past time is sitting on the beach and relaxing.
