Training and Workshops

Practical, hands-on training designed to help your team execute with confidence.

Supply chain marketing requires a unique overlap in skills: real marketing expertise and genuine industry knowledge. Social media training courses can teach your team to post and freight industry veterans understand how lanes, carriers, and capacity work. Finding someone who can do both, and connect the dots between them, is harder.

Drop & Hook founder Michelle LeBlanc has been speaking on content marketing and social media topics at industry events since 2015, from national conferences like TMSA and Pubcon to executive workshops and internal team training sessions. Since focusing exclusively on transportation and logistics marketing in 2018, she's worked with freight brokers, 3PLs, carriers, and logistics technology companies, which means every training session draws on real-world experience from inside the industry.

Our marketing workshops, training programs, and ongoing marketing coaching are built for two audiences: those who are new to logistics and need to understand the industry they're selling into, and operations and leadership teams who understand logistics but need a clearer picture of how modern marketing and content strategy actually works.

Who It's For

Built for logistics teams ready to level up.

This service is a fit for your team if:

  • You've hired marketing staff from outside the freight industry and they're struggling to connect with logistics buyers
  • Your sales team doesn't understand how to use content, social media, or CRM tools as part of their outreach
  • You're an operations leader who needs to understand what your marketing team is doing and why
  • Your company is investing in content or social media for the first time and needs a foundation before you start producing
  • You want your team to be able to execute marketing independently rather than relying entirely on outside agencies
  • You've attended a conference session and wanted a full day of that content applied to your specific business

We work with freight brokers, 3PLs, asset carriers, logistics technology companies, and supply chain service providers of all sizes, from small teams building their marketing function for the first time to larger organizations onboarding new hires or upskilling an existing team.

Our Process

A structured, hands-on approach designed for real learning and real results.

We don't deliver off-the-shelf training. Every workshop is tailored to your team's starting point, your business model, and the outcomes you're trying to reach.

Step 1: Discovery Call

Before we build anything, we spend time understanding your team's current knowledge level, your company's marketing goals, and the gaps you're trying to close. This shapes the content, the format, and the pace of the training.

Step 2: Custom Workshop Design

We build your training around your actual business. That means real examples from companies that look like yours, exercises built around your services and target customers, and frameworks your team can apply the next day, not in theory.

Step 3: Workshop Delivery

We deliver training in whatever format works best for your team: half-day or full-day sessions, virtual or in person. Sessions are interactive, not lecture-style. Your team will leave with tools, templates, and a clear action plan.

Step 4: Follow-Up Resources

Every workshop includes a recap document with key takeaways, recommended next steps, and any templates or frameworks covered in the session. For teams that want to keep the momentum going, we offer ongoing marketing coaching as an add-on to our monthly marketing retainer services.

What You Get

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer virtual and in-person workshops?

Yes. We deliver workshops both virtually and in person. In-person sessions are available within the continental U.S. with travel costs included in the engagement scope.

How long are the workshops?

We offer half-day sessions (typically three to four hours) and full-day sessions (six to seven hours, including breaks). The right format depends on how much ground you need to cover and your team's availability. For speaking engagements, our experts are available to moderate panels, MC events, provide keynote sessions or be available to provide expertise at your panel, fireside chat or workshop. Reach out to discuss your need and see if it’s a fit!

Can the workshop be customized for our specific business?

Yes, and we'd push back on doing it any other way. Generic marketing training doesn't stick because it doesn't connect to your actual customers, services, or competitive landscape. We will typically build every session around your unique business. Even with speaking engagements the topic will be tailored to the goals of the event and the latest updates in the industry.

What's the difference between a workshop and ongoing coaching?

A marketing workshop is a single intensive session designed to build knowledge and create a clear action plan. Ongoing marketing coaching is structured around accountability and execution, typically delivered through monthly one-on-one or small group sessions as part of a retainer arrangement.

How many people can attend a workshop?

Our workshops work best for teams of five to fifteen people. Smaller groups allow for more working time and personalized feedback. For larger teams, we can discuss a format that accommodates your group.

Do you offer training specifically on HubSpot?

Yes. HubSpot training for sales and marketing teams is available as a standalone session or as part of a broader marketing workshop. See our [Marketing Automation & HubSpot services] page for more on our CRM and automation work.
